Dorothy M. (nee Wesemann) Felicetti, 82 of Huntley, formerly of Elgin, passed away on Friday morning, June 8, 2018 at The Sheridan at Tyler Creek in Elgin.
She was born September 17, 1935 in Elgin, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Florence (Gerberding) Wesemann. She graduated from Elgin High School and later Northern Illinois University. Dorothy worked as an elementary school teacher in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Palatine and U-46. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Elgin.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane Lynn (Robert) Schmitt of Elgin, her grandchildren, Joshua and Jillian McCormack, Sarah and Jacob Schmitt, her dear companion, Chuck Beherns, many cousins and wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Kenneth Richard Wesemann, QM2/C, U.S. Navy, 1944 and her daughter, Julie Lynn McCormack in 2000.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12th at Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin.
