Gerald J. Miller, 85 of Huntley, died peacefully, June 20, 2018 at his home.
A visitation will be held on Monday, from 9:00am until 10:00am July 2, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley, with a Mass being celebrated at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.
Gerald was born April 24, 1933 the son of Claude and Verle Miller. He served in the United States Army. He married Patricia A. McCanna on May 14, 1955. He finished his career in sales at one of the country’s largest safety equipment manufacturer. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching the Bears, Notre Dame football and the Blackhawks. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, his children, Colleen (Bill) Navolio, Jerry (Karen) Miller and John (Gina) Miller and by his grandchildren, Erin, Marissa, Brandon and Jake and also by many adopted nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
