Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure / privilege in knowing Mr. Lattanzio. I do, however, know his son Phil. As such, he must have been a remarkable Husband, Dad and friend. Wishing you all peace at this time of sorrow.

Phil, So sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I wish the best for you and your family during this time of grief but try and rememeber all of the good times you had together. Fathers (and Mothers) are dear to each of us in their own special ways. I am sure you have great memories of times shared together! John P.S. I am really glad that he was able to see the Cubs win it all! Take care!

My deepest personal condolences to Phil and all of Mr. Lattanzio's family. If the standards of a man's son are a testament to who he is, then Mr. Phillip Lattanzio must have been a giant. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find peace in their faith and in their support of one another. Godspeed to Mr. Phillip Lattanzio, and may he smile as he saves a welcome space for those who long to, and shall see him again one beautiful day.

Phil and family, I am very sorry for your loss. I know the pain of losing a parent. You have to celebrate them and think of all the wonderful memories. I know I reflected on how much my mom did for me. Based on the man that you have become Phil, I am sure your father did the same and is very proud of you. The thoughts and prayers of my family will be with you all.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. Some say that we as parents are judged by how well our children are raised. If indeed that is the case, knowing you through the years, your Father must have been a great man.

Hope you can read this in heaven, Phil. Although you were technically a cousin-in-law, you were in reality, my uncle. You treated like a special nephew. Even though I was a Sox fan, you let me tease you about the Cubs when they weren't doing so good. But for you, I'll say, "Go Cubs!" You were my sponsor for Confirmation. I still remember your hand on my shoulder during the ceremony up at the altar. You had a good sense of humor and enjoyed the company of your extended family. I never heard you say a bad word about anybody. You set a good example for me growing up. You were good to my father and he enjoyed your company dearly. My brothers and I chose you to be a pallbearer for my father's funeral for a reason. You are missed. I just wish I would have told you a few years earlier. Mary, Mike, Philip our family's prayers are with you. And I miss you guys!
