Peter P. Sereda, 81 of Huntley, died peacefully, July 14, 2018
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 4-8pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will Thursday at 11:00am at St. Casimir Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to American Heart Association.
Peter was born March 22, 1937 in Chicago, the son of Peter and Mildred Sereda. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a project manager for Carrie Co. On May 16, 1970 he married Arlene Kondrad. The couple moved to Huntley in 1999. He was an avid golfer. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene, his children, Peter III (Barbara) Sereda, Patrick (Gail) Sereda, Pamela Seidel and Perron Sereda, by his grandchildren, Nick, Ricky, Robert, Andy, Sara and Emily. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arlene my deepest sympathy! Pete was a long time friend and coworker! We had the fortune to work together on my projects at carrier but more importantly he was a great guy ! I’m truly sorry unfortunately Pat and I are traveling out east and won’t be able to make it to the service. My prayers are with Pete and you!! Russ
