Vivian Lakowski, 85, of Huntley passed away on August 15, 2018, beloved wife of Frank, daughter of the late Emmy Giampietro (late Rocco) and the late Harold Wogelius. Loving sister of the late Gunnar (Audrey) Wogelius, the late Jack (late Barbara) Wogelius and sister in law Irene (late John) Raczka. She will be missed by her children, the late Frankie, Steven (Irene), Jeff, Laura (Gary Jeffers), Janice (Dave) Yost and her grandchildren Kyle, Kenneth (Anne), Ryan, Kaylin (Branden), Samantha, Karly and great grandchildren James, Andrew and coming soon, Eleanor. Loving Aunt to eleven nieces and nephews.
Vivian enjoyed spending time with family and friends, staying active in her community and cheering on the Chicago Cubs.
Visitation will be held on Sunday August 19, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL. An additional visitation will be held on Monday August 20, 2018 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Rd, Huntley, IL with a funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Vivian’s name to The American Cancer Society, 225 N Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL.

So sorry to here of Vivian's passing. I am so blessed to have had her in my life. We have had great times over the years. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She is in heaven, smiling down on us all. My condolences to Frank and family.
We were very blessed to share special moments with Aunt Vivian last week. Her beautiful soul gave us peace and grace. God bless Uncle Frank, our cousins and all their families. Aunt Vivian, I am certain, is now organizing the social events in Heaven in preparation for us all!
