Obituary

Kenneth David Kalitowski, 76 of Huntley, died peacefully, September 27, 2018.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on 10:00am, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in Huntley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Huntley Animal House Shelter or American Cancer Society.
Ken was born June 5, 1942 the son of Joseph Kalitowski and Estelle Breault. On January 18, 1973 he married Cheryl Jean Stanley. He served in the United States Navy and worked in IT Management. He enjoyed model trains, pinball machines, and spreadsheets. His greatest joy was his family, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, his children, Kristin (Joseph) Kowal and Kevin (Rhonda) Kalitowski and by his four grandchildren, Alton, Lexie, Evie, and Lorelei and also by his brother, Joseph “Don” (Jean) Kalitowski.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

So sorry Ken has passed. I worked with him for a few years before Kemper folded. He was a pleasure to work with and he talked about his family with such love and pride. He was a good and kind man.
