Mom, you taught me all the most important things in life. We will miss you in this world, but see you again in eternity. You are always in my heart, so in many ways you are still also here with me for all my days. Love, Daniel

Our deepest sympathies for you all. Ellen always had a quick smile and an encouraging word as I walked past her after Sunday’s message. She valued her heritage and her family. Hard to believe she went so quickly after her fall in December. Praying for you all.

We were blessed to attend church with Ellen and many times her son or sister would be there. I first met Ellen in God's girls, having Jewish Heritage it was fascinating to me to meet someone with so much knowledge, not only our heritage but life in general. I know I will see you again, in the meantime I am assured that you are finally home with your Yeshua, your beloved husband your kinsman redeemer and the rest of your loved ones. Recently when I visited you, once I was able to share lunch with you and the other time you were sleeping but I got a chance to speak with your son's. Along with your husband you have raised two wonderful men. Shalom to all who had the pleasure to meet Ellen.

She was a remarkable woman who chose Jesus Christ as her savior. She had many questions which the Lord can now answer.

I am a member of God!s Girls. I loved it when Ellen told her conversion story and did teaching on her Jewish heritage. It is difficult to believe she will no longer be there on Wed mornings. She will be missed so much ????

I have been blessed to know Ellen at Calvary Baptist in South Bend. Whether sharing thoughts on Scripture, her Jewish heritage, education, mission endeavors, or family, she was a constant encouragement with a wonderful smile. I rejoice with you that she is now experiencing the Hope that she expressed so often. May God bless you with wonderful memories of a very special lady. Eunice and George Sherwood

So sorry for your loss I have only known Ellen from Bible study this last year She has endured much and It was quite an amazing woman to the glory of God

I am grateful for the recent good time we had with Aunt Ellen. She appreciated the things of the past but did not dwell on them. Ellen was so good to her husband, my Uncle Sam, not only in life but continued to carry up his memory in the most high esteem. Aunt Ellen highly appreciated what her family did for her and loved the simple natural things of life. She so loved God and his teachings and may she be in peace now in eternity. She always extended herself with a kindly word and led a most exemplary life. We should all be more like her! She will be missed.

My sympathy to the sons Elliot and Daniel and the families. I saw Mrs. Rosen for many years as a patient in South Bend. She was a lovely woman, one of my "favorites" to see in the office. She shared some of her amazing life story with me and I felt honored. I enjoyed listening to the many things she had to say. I believe she will be missed by many people.

I met Ellen through God’s Girls. One time when I was going through a difficult season, she gave me a plaque that says “Faith Makes Things Possible.” I so appreciated her encouragement and positivity.

So sorry for your loss. I think Ellen’s mother Lotti may have been a sister to my grandmother Nanny Minnie Heyman from Germany and NJ. Trying to work on our family tree. Do I have the right Ellen Rosen family? Thank you

Elliot Rosen 2020-01-27 20:54:25

Mom, it was one year ago that I slept by your bed and during the night you went to heaven. It seems like yesterday to me and I am sorry that I couldn’t have done something more to comfort you or help you feel better. I am mad that I was asleep when you died. I am broken and will never forget you. Please tell dad and Omi how much I look forward to being with you again.
