Michael S. Luciano, 77 of Huntley, died peacefully, February 12, 2019
Visitation will be on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral Mass will be held 10:00am on Saturday, February 16 at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Michael was born July 7, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Michael and Mary Luciano. On July 28, 1962 he married Dorothea “Dolly” Stevens. He sold industrial supplies until his retirement. He was an avid softball player and enjoyed the game very much.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly, his sons, Philip (Karen) and David Luciano by his granddaughters, Gabriella, Giuliana and Madeline
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Ann Leathers.

During my years at McMaster-Carr as the front desk receptionist before I retired, Mike taught me a lot. His stern looks, warm heart and conversations (in the Mike Luciano Way) enlighten my years knowing Mike as a co-worker and friend. Rest well Mike.

Sad to hear of the passing of Mike Luciano. He was always Great to me and taught me so much about how our company operated. I absolutely loved working for/with him and enjoyed the many nicknames he had for me. The Rookie - and then changed it from that to - Precious, instead of Preston. Mike was Special. He was The Best!
I was sorry to hear of Mike's passing. My condolences to his family. I knew Mike through the softball league at the Huntley Del Webb. He had a love of the game, and kept involved in many aspects of it.

I worked with Mike at McM over 10 years ago. The news of his passing has me heart broken. Mike was one of the nicest guys...always willing to help with a smile, and he would always crack me up with his little quips. I remember him so clearly. He truly is one-of-a-kind...the best! Dear Dolly, Phil and David, I am so sorry for your loss. I am also so sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you at the Church. I got caught up talking to some McMaster people I hadn't seen in years and by the time we finished you had left. I didn't find out abut all this until late Friday night. I always enjoyed Mike's company and his great smile. He sure loved his family! I wish you all God's Blessings and comfort!
