Janet L. Jarvis, 80 of Huntley, died peacefully on March 19, 2019
A visitation will be on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, 10:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley, there will be a visitation at Church from 9:00-10:00am. Janet was born May 8, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of William and Eleonore Balon. On August 1, 1959 she married Gerard R. Jarvis. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry of 60 years, children, Laura Boldt, Jeff (Paula) Jarvis and Jerome Jarvis, by her six grandchildren, Luke, Thomas, Meghan, Skylar, Paige and Chase and also by her brother, Denis (Laura) Balon and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
