Our hearts are broken but we take comfort in the hope that you are flying with the angels. You came into our lives just in the past few years but became dear to us none the less. Your sense of humor was incomparable and your selflessness and love for others was plain to see. You will be missed terribly. Always in our hearts.

My condolences to Jim and family. Barb was one of the most special ladies that I have ever known. Her sense of humor and loving spirit were unmatched. She was a true gem of a friend who never failed to make me laugh. My heart is broken, but I am so grateful that she came into my life. My memories are rich and priceless.

Barb and I were best friends since 3rd grade at Wing Elementary School. We were two of the "country kids" who rode into town on school buses. From early on, Barb displayed the gift of making people laugh. Her childhood claim to fame was looking like child actress Haley Mills. Everyone wanted to sit near her in school because she was so funny. She endeared to her all who met her, and I am so sad to lose my precious friend but grateful that we remained close until the last time I was with her on September 9. She thanked me, in her weakness, for making the trip up from Florida. I am so glad I did that. She has a guardian angel, Sauweeta, as well as the archangel Michael, who carried her home with grace. I know that she is joyful in Heaven and happy to be free of her Earthly restraints. I will love her always.

My sincere condolences to Barbs family. I went to EHS and Barb's picture looks very familiar, I am sure we passed in the halls many times. I have read the messages here and I wish that we knew each other, as she seemed like a very nice person with a good since of humor. May her family and friends be comforted by remembering the good and happy and beautiful times you've had with her being a part of "your wonderful circle of love and companionship" you were given for a while to enjoy.
