Jason Reyes, 41 of Lake in the Hills, died peacefully at his home, October 7, 2019
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00pm with a service at 7pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home -10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
Jason was born January 25, 1978 the son of Shirley and Venancio Reyes. He served in the United States Army. He loved to shoot pool, loved watching sports and was a Cubs and Bears fan. Jason always had a smile on his face and giant heart – he loved everyone he met. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Shirley and Donald Kohl, his children, Jason Reyes, Jr., and Sirena Reyes, by his siblings, Kathy (Gerardo) Garcia, Dawn Socha, Jimmy Brindisi and Sal Brindisi and Step brothers, Mike and Jeff Kohl and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Venancio Reyes.

When we first met i fell in love you your amazing person how friendly you can be, your smile & eyez spark joy... we weren't legal to party or go out yet but somehow we manage to have fuuun ???? We both love music, dancing, made our time feel like no one matter we lived free spirited & nothing stopped us ???? Now i will carry w me all of our great memoriez [no one knowz them] On my timez of need you were here for me & thank you for your kind wordz & never judging my krazinezz Its really hard to believe you aren't here ???????? Jason I can't believe what I just found out today. Gone soon! We've been friends for so many years. We have had great times together and I will cherish them forever. You could always make me smile!
