How do you summarize a 30 year relationship with someone in a few brief paragraphs? It's as hard to do as it is impossible to believe that you are really gone. Stephanie was my step sister & a wonderful Aunt to all nine of her nieces & nephews who she loved a great deal. She was a loving fifth daughter to my Dad, who loved her very much. Steph was always there for birthday parties, graduation celebrations, dance recitals, soccer games , Father's day, at every holiday gathering & our yearly group outing to the zoo. (Not to mention the circus where she bravely took anywhere from 4 to 6 children, for years, on her own & where no was a word never spoken). I will remember our time spent together as a family talking, laughing & snacking. Especially our evenings spent laughing at the table playing cards with the "folks" late into the evenings, where she'd bid hearts but open with spades. May the tears that are shed for you now on Earth wash away your tears of pain & sorrow. Rest in peace dear Stephanie.
