Yvonne C. Petty, 90, of Huntley, died on March 16, 2020.
Yvonne was born on January 30, 1930 in Chicago to parents Leo and Caroline (nee Patzka) Delmagro.
Yvonne was compassionate to both humans and animals alike and loved to be surrounded by dogs and cats. She could often be found watching Animal Planet and loved to keep her hands busy with needlepoint and sewing. Fondly referred to as “Princess Grace” by her friends at Bridge Club, she was known for her gentle and loving spirit. Above all, Yvonne was devoted to her family. She married the love of her life, David on July 11, 1959, and together they raised four children and and six grandchildren
She is survived by her children, Carol Petty Zasler, Mark (Wendy) Petty, Gail (Walter) Boyle, and Guy Petty, and her grandchildren, Aaron, Forrest, Anya, Cole, Noelle, and Talia.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, David Petty.
Yvonne chose to donate her body to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois.
