Shirley A. Abbott, 86, of Lecanto, FL, died peacefully on February 4, 2024, in Huntley, IL.
Shirley was born in Bloomington, Illinois on May 16, 1937, to parents Arthur B. and Marjorie H. Wey.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Arthur L. Abbott, her children, Chris (Lisa) Abbott, Karen (Brian) Weedman and Vicki Spooner as well as by her nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur B. and Marjorie H. Wey, her in-laws, Orville and Truth Abbott, her grandson, Samuel Abbott, and her son-in-law, Timothy Spooner.
Shirley loved the magic of Disney.
Services were private at the funeral home.
