Roman S. Luck, 86, of Huntley, died peacefully February 24, 2024.
Roman was born February 8, 1938 in Chicago, the son of Roman and Josephine Luck. On July 23, 1960 he married Jean Jelic. He worked for AT &T for 31 years and later went on to work for HR Block. He was an avid golfer and shot three holes in one. He was devoted to his wife, Jean of 63 years, his grandchildren meant the world to him. He was a huge Chicago Cub ‘s Fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, his son, Michael Luck, grandchildren, Michael, Jr. (Diana), Brandon (Alexis), and Krystal (Zoe) and by great granddaughter, Macy. He is also survived by his brother, Larry (Sue) Luck.
Roman was preceded in death by his parents, and by his twin great grandchildren, Brantley, and Hudson.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 3-6pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A second visitation will be held on Monday at Church from 9am until the time of the Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church -10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. The burial will be at Huntley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Kidney Foundation.
