Christina (Tina) T. Jasionowski, age 70, of Huntley died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born April 5, 1947 in Worcester, Massachusetts and grew up in the small town of Millbury, the youngest of 3 children born to Stanley & Sophie (nee Rapinchuk) Samko. She moved to Chicago as a young adult.

She retired in 2010 after being employed for almost 25 years by municipalities, most recently with the Village of Huntley where she was the Receptionist at the Municipal Building. She had also worked for the Huntley Police Department and Public Works. Previously, she was employed as the Records Division Supervisor by the Hoffman Estates Police Department.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Martin, her sister Phyllis Zisk, her brother Stanley Samko, Jr, her son Joseph M Pajdo, Jr., her daughter Jennifer (Scott) Griffin, grandchildren Ethan & Taryn Shoun, nephews Steven Dufault & Robert (Lisa) Dufault, nieces Chris (Dan) Kelly & Deborah (Rob) McKay, her sister-in-law, Joan (Fred) Jurczyk, her brothers-in-law, Thomas (Mary) Jasionowski and Richard Jasionowski. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother Statia.

Per her wishes, Tina has been cremated. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 3rd at the DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home,10763 Dundee Rd, Huntley, with a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
