Shirley A. Ness, 60 of Huntley died peacefully, July 21, 2012 at her home.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral service will be 11:30am on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Shirley was born February 10, 1952 the daughter of Leonard and Dorothy (Sizemore) Milauskas. On February 14, 1997 she married Keith Ness. Shirley loved knitting, playing cards, cooking, cutting hair and all crafts, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Ness, her daughters, Kimberly (Jay) Robertson, Courtney (Brandon) Van Damme, Stephanie (Joe) Wroblewski. She is survived by her grandchildren, Avery and Sienna, her parents, Leonard and Dorothy Milauskas; brothers and sisters, Marie (Roy) Engstrom, Theresa (Bill) Buis, Greg (Susan) Milauskas, John (Cheryl) Milauskas, Cathy (Mike) Lafond, Tom (Melinda) Milauskas. Shirley is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of great friends.
