Frank J. Kozik, 79 of Huntley, died peacefully, August 13, 2018 at the Edward Hines VA Hospital.
Frank was born February 19, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois the son of John and Zophia (Sczceinski) Kozik. He proudly served in the United States Army. On October 12, 1963 he married Judith Ann Sliwinski. He retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Co. Frank was an avid fisherman, a Chicago Cubs and Bears Fan and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Diane (Scott) Grafer and Daniel Kozik, he is survived by his grandchildren, Katherine (Connor) and Meghan (Sean) and by his dear sister, Maryann Zmuda and beloved brother, Fred (Fran) Kozik. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Judith and by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 4-8pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley a funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 1:00pm with visitation from 12-1pm all at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Edward Hines VA Hospital.

With deepest sympathies for Diane, Scott, Danny, Kate and Meghan. I am so grateful for all the years the Kozik family has allowed me to be part of their lives. The memories have left a mark on my heart that will never fade. Frank will be missed you and Jud are together again.

SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT MY GOOD FRIEND FRANK. I HAD NO IDEA HE HAD PASSED AWAY. WE SHARED MANY GOOD TIMES TOGETHER AT WORK AND I USUALLY TALKED TO HIM AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES.
