Donald W. “Butch” Truschke, 63 of Marengo, died September 6. 2018 at Journeycare Hospice in Woodstock.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 11:am-2pm with a service at 2pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL 60142. Burial will be in Huntley Cemetery.
Donald was born May 14, 1955 in Cicero, Illinois the son of Donald and Reba Truschke. On June 30, 2006 he married Linda Lawson. He was an avid gardener, he enjoyed old cars, baseball and bowling. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, his father Donald B. Truschke, his children, Christopher, Allen, Michelle and Sean (Karissa), step children, Keith (Nicole), Ryan and Sarah (Andrew), by his 14 grandchildren, Destiny, Tommy, Chyann, Kassidy, Andrea, Gabbie, Lexie, Erica, Jessica, Damien, Christopher, Savannah, Emma and Leyna. He is also survived by his brothers, Gary (Diane) Truschke, Darron (Lori) Reed, sisters, Laura (Jim) Ozanic , Pam(Dan) Truschke-Gandolfo, Laura (Marvin) Jones. He was preceded in death by his step father and mother Babbie and Maxine Reed, and brothers, Robert Reed and Joey Reed and step mother Charlotte .
