Edna L. Angelucci, 88 of Pingree Grove, died peacefully, November 1, 2018 with her family by her side.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Monday, November 5, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. In lieu of flowers to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Children Hospital
Edna was born April 12, 1930 in Bellwood, Illinois the daughter of Fred and Anna Groh. On June 5, 1949 she married her husband Alphonso Angelucci. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandma and nana.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Larry) Christensen, Barb (Tom) Briggs, and Lynnette (Paul) Kutella, by her grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), Sarah (Ryan), Matthew (Lannan) Kristin (Doug), Lauren (Mark), Nathan (Ashley) and Nicholas(Katie) and by her 18 great grandchildren, Isabella, Alexandra, Lukki, Jordan, Mikela, Noah, Lily, Braden, Elijah, Finleigh, Madelyn, Olive, Kieran, Nolan, Caleb, Maxime, Emma and Ezra. She is also survived by her sister, Lenore “Kiki” La Bello and brother, Robert (Barbara) Groh and by her great great, Adalyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonoso and by her 9 brothers and sisters.

I loved her, she was sweet and kind! Honestly always kept a perfect clean house, I admired her for that and trying to talk some good sense into us as teenagers! We gave her a rough time, lol, she was always a Great Mom, Grandmother,great Wife, hard worker and great adviser! I know how much she will be missed! God bless the Angelucci family and the Kutella's! May the words of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior find a place in your hearts with the words he spoke in John 5:28,29 to which we find him here giving us all a Guarrantee that he will Faitfully carry out a resurrection and bring back your dear loved one, Edna back to life again and while that maybe a surprise to all, there is yet another Guarrantee that God has made thru His Son and that can be found in Psalm 37:29 which says: The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. So may these words give you all the added reason to be there to welcome her back into your arms to hold and to cherish forever.
