Armand Ferrini, 75 of Sun City, Huntley, formerly of Arlington Heights died peacefully, Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his home with his family by his side.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on 11:00am, Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church-10703 Dundee Road, Huntley. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary St. Vincent DePaul Society or Hospice of Northeastern Illinois.
Armand was born September 29, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Armand and Sue (DiChiarro) Ferrini. He served in the United States Army. In 1958 he married Mary Koch. Armand worked in the insurance industry and by the age of 39 he became a Vice President of Zurich Insurance Co. Armand was a permanent deacon since 1986, serving as a deacon at St. James Church in Arlington Heights, and later at St. Mary Catholic Church, where he is a member and a Knight of Columbus. He was a loyal Chicago Cubs and Bulls fan, he was an avid Bocce Ball Player and member of the Sun City Bocce Club.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, his children, Beth (Kevin) Waldman, Diane Ferrini, Mike (Jeanne) Ferrini, Tom (Mary Rybowiak) Ferrini. He is survived by his grandchildren, Brian (Elise), Eric, and Sarah Waldman. He is also survived by one brother, Joseph (Darina) Ferrini and by many nieces and nephews.

Uncle Armand will hold a special place in all of our hearts. His winning smile, silly laugh when he was giving us a hard time or his a terrible jokes. I miss him. We will all miss him.
