Sharon “Sherry” Theis, 75 of Huntley, died peacefully, December 26, 2018 with her family by her side.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 3:00-7:00pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1:00pm at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be at Huntley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
Sharon was born July 3, 1943 the daughter of Roland and Marian Larson. On June 6, 1964 she married Gerald C. Theis. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed going to casinos and was known to be pretty lucky; she also enjoyed traveling, hiking, crafting and mostly spending times with her four grandsons.
Sherry is survived by her husband , Gerald, daughters, Kathy (Dan) Malone and Kristen Haas, her grandsons, Zack, Max, Alex and James, and by her sister, JoAnn Tatro. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard.

my condolences to Mr. Theis and family. I only knew Mrs. Theis for a short time, but i enjoyed caring for her. It was a pleasure getting to meet such a wonderful and caring family. I know Mrs. Theis is very loved, i could feel it whenever i came into the room. Ill be praying for all of you and keeping you in my thoughts.
