Allen J. Koskiewicz, 69 of Huntley, died peacefully March 11, 2019
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Pinecrest Golf Club -11220 Algonquin Rd, Huntley, IL 60142. The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 3:00pm, with prayers at 3 PM.
Allen was born October 9, 1949 in Chicago, the son of Frank and Lorraine Koskiewicz. On February 12, 1972 he married Diane Wright. He worked as a pension specialist for Banker’s Life & Casualty Insurance Co. Allen enjoyed golfing, watching old movies, gardening, taking long walks and had a special place for gnomes. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Diane, his children, Kristina (Edgar) Bernal, Julie Koskiewicz (fiancé Jon Makowski), by his sister, Cynthia (Dave) Hastings and his beloved grandsons, Tyler and Travis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

What we remember most about Allen was how he was such a kind and gentle man. We will never forget how he came to Kim’s 60th birthday party even though he was very sick. But that’s the kind of man he was. We will miss him very much. God bless you Allen!
