James J. Wilson, Sr. of Huntley, IL. died peacefully on March 31, 2019. Jim was born in Chicago IL 5-31-1937.
He was the dear husband of Joanne Honkala Young, the loving father of James Wilson, Jr. (Kathy) of Oregon, Carol Gallois (Mark) of Elgin, Daniel Wilson of Algonquin, Cathleen Quinn of Hoffman Estates and step-daughter Denise Young of Algonquin. He also had seven grandchildren, Nate Gallois (Carley) of Pingree Grove, Dana Czajkowski (Pawel) of Elburn, Jason Wilson of Oregon, Nichole Quinn of Hoffman Estates, Lacey Wilson of Algonquin, Bryan Quinn and Kaitlyn Quinn of Hoffman Estates. Jim also had five great-grandchildren, Caiden, Danny, Charley, Mila and Rylee. Edward Wilson (Ellie) of Lake Geneva WI is Jim's only sibling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Della Wilson.
Jim was a member of Pipefitter's Local 597 for 50 years and worked for Advance Mechanical Systems, Inc. of Arlington Heights. He was an avid fisherman, loved gardening, playing cards and working on his laptop.
A celebration of life memorial will be held after Easter.

I will always remember Jim's great smile, his laughter, how fun he always was, and how much he loved and treasured my Dear Friend, Joanne. Jim is no longer suffering, RIP Dear Jim.
