Obituary

Margaret T. McCotter, 85 of Schaumburg, died peacefully at her home, September 20, 2012.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am on Monday St. Matthews Catholic Church- 1001 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 t0 8:00pm on Sunday at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. There will also be a visitation on Monday from 9:30am until 10:30am at the Church. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery in Palatine.
Margaret was born October 20, 1926 in Galway, Ireland, the daughter of Martin and Ann Walsh. She married William Vincent McCotter. Margaret was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family.
She is survived by her children, Bernadette Dvorscak, of Cary, IL, Dan McCotter of Crystal Lake, Eileen (Don) Stout of Winfield, IL, Rita Slawek of Algonquin, IL and Mary Elise (George) Wilson of Schaumburg ,IL. She is survived by her grandchildren, Shayna, Donnie, Stephanie, Bobby, Shane and Meghan and great grandchildren, Alyssa and Brady. Margaret is also survived by her brothers and sister, Joe Walsh, Sarah (Ned) Foley and Bartley Walsh.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, her grandson, Kyle Dvorscak and by her brothers and sisters, John, Martin, Mamie, Coleman, Delia and Pat.
