Gloria Revere, 72, of Algonquin died peacefully, June 14, 2019. Visitation will be on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 4-8 pm with a service at 7 pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Shriner’s Childrens Hospital.
Gloria was born October 28, 1946 the daughter of Norman and Mildred Parker. On November 4, 1964 she married John Revere. She enjoyed cooking, QVC, crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Brian (Victoria) Revere, Jay (Aimee) Revere and Chris (Valorie) Revere, her grandchildren, Jaclyn, Cassidi, Carli, Rocco, Gino and Brooklynn and step-grandchildren, Lindsey and Lidia. She is also survived by her brother Tommy Parker. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Gloria at the West Belmont branch library, where her sense of humor and kindness, laced with just the right amount of tartness, made her a wonderful coworker and a favorite of patrons. My deepest condolences.
I am so sorry for your loss. I met Gloria, when I started to work at the West Belmont Branch Library, and she welcomed me with open arms and taught me so much, that I carry all the knowledge that she gave me to this day. She was such a kind person, who always made everyone laugh.. To the family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers..

I worked with Gloria a the West Belmont Branch and she was a joy to work with! She had an incredible sense of humor and was always making me laugh. Gloria was incredibly beautiful both inside and outside. We will all miss her but God needed to bring his angel back home to him.
