Aidan M. Beckford, 18 of Huntley died September 7, 2019
Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00am until 2:00pm with a service being held at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. http://www.missingkids.com/home
Aidan was born November 27, 2000 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Jody and Michael Beckford. Aidan was a bright, quiet, kind and thoughtful soul. He had taught himself to play the piano and always loved learning new things. He enjoyed watching documentaries about ancient history, the Egyptians and more. His favorite show was Super Natural. He was very gifted in math and thoroughly enjoyed reading and writing since he was a little boy. Aidan also loved the peace and quiet of nature and the outdoors. Aidan had two dogs, Zoey and Kobe, whom he loved dearly and would spend much time with his sister looking online at all of the adoptable pets who needed homes. Aidan was a gentle person who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a loving son, brother, nephew and cousin.
Aidan is survived by his mother, Jody Beckford and sister, Abie Beckford, by his grandparents, David and Susan Ruegg, Gary (Linda) Beckford, his aunts and uncles, Jeanne (Thomas) Todd, Christine (Mitchell) Cohen, cousins, Michael (Iga) Todd, Megan Todd, and Rebecca and Zachary Cohen. He is also survived by, Jackie Beckford, his half sister, River Beckford, and step brothers, and sisters, Nicholas, Matthew, Emily, Christopher Kouzios.
Aidan was preceded in death by his father, Michael and by his grandparents, Nancy and Duane Muehler.
