Clifford “Wes” Orr, 64 of Huntley, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday morning, October 1, 2012.
He was born November 29, 1947 in Lawrence, Kansas, the son of Albert and Mildred? (Johnson) Orr.? He moved with his family at an early age to Chicago and had to quit school early to help support his family.? He was drafted into the United States Army during Vietnam and was stationed in Germany.? He was united in marriage to Judith A. Paolini on October 24, 1970.? The couple made their home in Chicago and Wes worked in the vending machine repair business and later as a route driver for Alpha Bakery retiring in 2007.? He was a very dedicated man who was an extremely hard worker.? He especially enjoyed his grandchildren, driving his granddaughters to school and their many activities, as well as, wrestling with his grandsons.? He was known for teaching them countless mischievous deeds.? He enjoyed the Cubs and the Bears, fishing and golf.?
Wes is survived by his loving wife, Judy of Huntley, his devoted son and best friend, Keith (Jen) Orr of St. Charles, his devoted daughter, Lisa (Raffaele) Druetta of Huntley, he was the proud Papa of Serafina, Westly, Cristina, Matthew & Colin, caring brother of Patricia Orr and Iris (Roger) Doss of Hoffman Estates & Bud (Judy) Orr of Missouri and he was the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne and Billy Orr, his sister, Donna and her husband, Shelly Sherman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 5th from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. and the service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.? In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wes Orr Memorial Fund.?

Cliff was a wonderful neighbor who will be missed dearly. More importantly he was a caring and loving, Papa to my little girl too. Serafina, Cristina, and Jalen have become the best of friends, because of him.
We are so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by many.
I will miss seeing him every morning. He was a wonderful man and we will miss him so much.
