Steven Zawitkowski, 82 of Huntley died December 24, 2019 with his family by his side.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 3:00 to 8:00pm with a service held at 7pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Steven was born December 4, 1937 in Poland the son of Joseph and Mary Zawitkowski. On November 26, 1960 he married Beverly Parker. He worked as a tool and die maker until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing . He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly, daughter, Sharon (Angelo) Filippo and by his granddaughter, Sophia. He is all so survived by his life long friends, Stanley Lacina, Chester Haltman and Joseph Sliwa and by his niece, Diane Jurgens.
Steven was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda and two brothers.
