Margaret L. Nelson, 73 of Huntley, died peacefully December 26, 2019 with her family by her side.
Visitation will be on Monday December 30, 2019 from 12:30-1:30pm with a 1:30pm Mass all at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Margaret was born August 8, 1946 in Chicago the daughter of Michael and Florence Kazmierczak. On May 15, 1965 she married Robert Nelson. Growing up she was very athletic and was a softball player. She had a great sense of humor, was an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed a little wine and playing the slots. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Bob Nelson, sons, Robert, Michael (Amy) and David (Jill) and by her grandchildren, Robert III, Tyler, Joshua and Daphne. She is also survived by her brothers, Roger (Rita) Kazmierczak, Russ (Barb) Kazmierczak and sister, Mary Kazmierczak. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Michael and sister, Rita.

Bobby we are so sorry to hear about Marge. Didn’t know she was sick. We moved to Florida 4 months ago. We will keep her in our prayers.

Dear Bob and boys, Please accept our condolences on your loss of Marge. We just heard about her passing this evening. Janet called to let us know that "her Aunt Marge" was no longer with us. We all shared so much time, libations and just a ton of laughs watching Blazing Saddles, playing volleyball and golf. Her laugh and personality were something that has been missing in our lives...and now I'm sure yours. We're thinking of all of you sharing our fondest memories together.
Dear Nelson Family - I am so sorry to hear that Marge has passed after a difficult illness. I am another one of the Thomas girls. One of the “babies”. I remember Marge, Bob, Rita & Don coming over when my sister Carol was in town. Those were the best memories. We kids would sit around and listen while they talked and laughed.
