Obituary

Jose L. Hernandezgonzales, 54, of Great Lakes, died peacefully on December 17, 2019 in Lake in the Hills.
The family will be hosting a memorial service on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
Jose was born September 20, 1965 in Mexico City, Mexico. He moved to the greater Chicagoland with family at age 11. He was a proud veteran, and served as a Navy Seabee for 4 years, before joining the Navy reserves, and then the Army reserves. Jose was a hard worker, and enjoyed spending time in his garage working on his beloved Jeeps.
He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Hernandez, and Carolyn (Dan) Cook, his two grandchildren, JaeCee and Oliver, and his sister, Maria Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Lucila Hernandez, and his sisters, Judith Hernandez.
