Gerald W. Christoph, 75, of Lake in the Hills, IL, died on January 30, 2020, in Crystal Lake, IL, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 16, 1944 in Chicago, IL to Leroy and Doris (nee Nystrom) Christoph.
Gerald was happily married to Kathleen for 55 years, and loved to vacation in Florida with his family and friends. He loved to fish, and was a hardworking construction project manager with Local Union 2.
He is survived by his devoted wife Kathleen, his children Jerry (Nancy) Christoph, Debbie (Patrick) Stanford, and Jackie (Brian) Anderson, his grandchildren, Lauren, Breana, Ryan, Jake, Michael, Tyler, Jenna, and Connor, his great-granddaughter Norah., his brother Robert (Kim) Christoph, nephew John, and his adored dog, Sandy.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10:00am until time of service 12:00noon all at DeFiore Funeral Home 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
