Carole Lynne Stone, 72, of Pingree Grove, formerly Hoffman Estates, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on February 18, 2020.
Carole was born on August 14, 1947 in Chicago, IL to parents Harold and Nell A. (nee Simpson) Chapman.
Nothing brought Carole more joy than spending time with her family. Whether it was road trips with her beloved husband Ollie, shopping with her daughter Cora, or doting on her grandchildren, Carole was devoted to her family. She could often be found getting lost in a book, or gardening in the summer.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Ollie, her daughter, Cora, and her two grandchildren, Nathan and Calleigh
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29 from 11am to time of Memorial Service 1pm at Defiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL 60142.

Carole was a cheerful person who greeted the patrons at the library . My prayers are with her family members.
