My deepest condolences. Peter was an amazing boss and an even more incredible friend/mentor. He taught me so many things that have stuck with me throughout my adult life. It's been over 15 years since I worked for him yet he still comes up in my conversations to this day. He was the epitome of a family man and always stood up for what he knew was right. The Mcginley Family is filled with love and this is because of the values Peter and Melissa instilled. I will forever miss you, Chef.

From waaaay back at The Hotel Niko in Chicago (where I was a retained consultant) ... I identified Chef Peter’s intense culinary and leadership skills. But - more importantly ... his character. It was for the latter, that I ultimately recruited Peter to accept the Executive Chef position at Exmoor Country Club (as then GM) where he excelled and literally “turned the club around” toward consistent ala Carte and banquet execution level that were previously unknown. Peter was a very fine Chef, a fine family man ... and, a fellow follower of a Jesus.
