I post this message with great sorrow for the passing of the life of one of the most vivacious, loving, and beautiful spirits that I have ever known. To know Peggie, was to love Peggie, and I extend my condolences to everyone in her family. She now rests with the angels.

I am so sorry to hear about Peggie’s passing. She, Victor and I were backdoor neighbors in Carol Stream. We lived across the way for about 12 to 13 years. She loved to sit outside and chat with me about whatever was on her mind, her kids, her cherished husband Victor, the neighbors, or when she finally came into our lives my daughter Allison (now 29) was often the topic of conversation. She had a wonderful laugh and good sense of humor. I felt that she was never a fake person but someone who was her own person. I remember attending our neighbor’s 4th of July party and just having a great time sitting on the sidelines and watching all the activity and enjoying some great food.. She would let me talk about anything on my mind and was always glad to offer a suggestion that was very logically sound. I will miss Peggie. Her children should know that she adored them so and every Mother’s Day she would cherish the hanging fushia plant that they would give her. I am sure God loved Peggie. We never prayed together but we were on the same page regarding our Lord. I am sure she will be missed here on earth, I know I will, but I look forward to the day when we meet again in heaven. May you be at peace with the fact that she is safely in the arms of Jesus laughing that laugh I could pick out from a crowd as only Peggie Weber. All my best With sincerest sympathy , Deb Rateno-Dodson

We loved 'Peg O My Heart' & will miss her presence on this earth. She was my Mom's best friend for many years & a warm, loving & funny part of the family. She will never be forgotten, but always remembered w/ a smile.

I knew Peggy from going out with the neighbors and drinks on the drive. She had the greatest smile. She will be missed.

Our favorite memories of Peggy were of their times here in Arizona. We attended the same church and would usually have lunch together. After lunch we would either play our favorite Sequence or watch the Sunday afternoon or evening football games together. We loved her sense of humor and her deep devotion to her Lord Jesus & her family. Our parting now is only - temporary . While we grieve, it is not as the world grieves because of the ‘Hope’ that is in us. We look forward to our reunion with her and many more of our loved ones-Farewell dear Peggy❣️

My condolences to Viiktor and all of Peggie’s family. This season celebrates our belief that when we die in the body living the life of Jesus in our belief in Jesus, the Christ, we are born into eternal life. God bless all of us and stay safe.

Thank you, Jackie, for sending us this DefioreFuneral-page, which informs us and gives us the opportunaty to condolence. It doesn't matter, how far we're apart, it matters how close we stay! Even though a huge ocean is between you and us and even though we weren't in direct contact through writing or calling at all. Since we met a few times (for Mareike just once) in life, we felt a deep love and in Peggy's case a special smile about your way of humor and openness, the way straight ahead to say what you thought and what you meant. Our thoughts and prayers are going to you, Victor; may you find comfort and peace, knowing Peggy now is redeemed from suffering and what she has given to you since you've met her the first time, is plenty of years, experiences and memories of great love, assistance, strength and much much more only you'll know.

Jackie & John Weber 2020-04-16 12:31:01

Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Even though Peggie was going thru so much with her cancer. She always would remember to ask how we were doing. This showed her thoughtfulness and kindness she had for everyone. We'll always remember this about Peggie.

So sorry for Aunt Peggy’s passing, Uncle Viktor, family, and especially those who got to spend the most time with her. She was always such an uplifting person who made you truly enjoy spending time with and being around her. It was few and far between times that we were able to visit, but I remember her talking of things she loved, enjoying music, and mentioning one of her favorite actors, Johnny Depp. My siblings and I made sure to watch the Pirates of the Caribbean movies when they came out and we thought it was great that she liked him so much!! In those moments, it seemed like she was closer to our ages than our aunt a few decades older. I am amazed, though, that she lived so long with some of the things she’d been through and overcome!! She lived a rich, full life and it is a bittersweet goodbye. We love you, Auntie Peggy, and look forward to seeing you again someday!!❤️

Even though we haven't been with Peggie much since we've been in Florida, I miss her much. She has always been a beautiful person and I'm so glad she is a part of our family. She brought so much joy to Viktor and loved him and life fully. When this life is over we will have a great reunion! "Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Miles may separate us, but we are one in the Spirit. Love you and miss you all. Esther

I was introduced to Peggie over 40 years ago when Linda married my brother. She was always so welcoming and would always ask how things were with me and my family. One the last times we sat and talked was at Linda & Ray's home at a summer party. My sincere condolences to Linda, Jim, Doug and Steve and to Viktor. She fought that cancer with everything she had. Rest in Peace dear lady, be sure to find my Dad in Heaven and give him a hug from me.

In these days we are thinking of you victor and of your children and grandchildren. In 1999, just after we married, our way brought us to chicago. We remember the overwhelming wellcoming in the familiy weber. Our son Joschi (6 years old, with no english knowledge) was taken from all of you, like a natural child. We mean to remember, that it was Peggie, who made the other kids on the Thanksgiving celebration to take him along (and share their pokemon cards with him), that was a great experience for him. And for us to get to know Peggie and you, what was especially for Carsten very valuable! We remember Peggie and you as very kind, interested and humorous.

I am so happyand thankful that we met Peggie and you, Viktor, on our visits. Germany is too far. Letters, reports, pictures, emails...helps us to hear from each other from the family. But in our hearts you all are very close and we are connected to you. Manfred and I got to know your little house and your pensioner life back than. It was nice to know where and how you live. It was always a nice and warmly time when we met together. We felt you have been a good team! We were sad that Peggie had been sick a lot in the past few years and the last few month have been a difficult farewell for Peggie and you, I think! We wish you that our Heavenly Father will comfort and accompany you. He give you new stength and confidence for every day! A wonderful Savior is Jesus our Lord and we look forward to be with him and ourloved once! We are so happy and thankful for the whole family and friends who accompany you on your way! And the belief in our Heavenly Father carrie you. We will see our loved once again to eternity! With all our love your Ulrike, Babara und Ute
