The members of the St. Mary's Ladies' Auxiliary send their love and condolences. Char was a treasured member of our organization. She was always willing to help, to volunteer, and to share her talents. She will be greatly missed. We will miss her smile, her warmth, and her "can-do" spirit. We have been so blessed by her presence and friendship. Our love to you all.

We will miss Charlene very much. We were honored and lucky to be her next door neighbors and friends. She had the biggest heart and we will miss our phone conversations and the laughter that ensued. She always had a brave and posative attitude, even till the end. I am so glad we had the chance to tell each other that we loved one another before she passed. She is with the Heavenly Father now. So long for now, sweet friend.

Charlene lived next door to me and we soon became best friends. She was there for me thru all the surgeries, taking me to the Dr and Bringing me food. We could call each other on a minutes notice and say “. I’ll pick you up in half a hour and we would go shopping and to lunch. She was my confidant and encouraged me in whatever I wanted to do. Everyone loved Charlene- you couldn’t help but care about her. I will miss her so much but I’m so grateful that God put her in my life. Two days ago I saw the most beautiful red cardinal sitting on my fence and thought there’s Charlene checking on me. David if you need something please don’t hesitate to ask. And to her family. She was so proud of all of you and loved you so much. Good bye my friend- I will see you again.

A SISTER TAKEN TOO SOON. I WILL ALWAYS LIVE WITH THE REGRET THAT THE AGE DIFFERENCE KEPT US APART. I WILL FOREVER BE GREAT FULL HOWEVER FOR THE GOLDEN YEARS FOR MY SISTER AND I CLOSED THAT AGE GAP AND BECAME REAL SISTERS. WE SHARED THOUGHTS, DREAMS, DESIRES, FEELINGS AND LOVE. I WILL BEFORE EVER HONORED TO CALL CHARLENE MY SISTER. I MAY NOT REMEMBER PLAYING TOGETHER BUT I ENDED UP WITH MANY MANY ADULT MEMORIES. FOR THE GOLDEN YEARS THAT BROUGHT US TOGETHER I AM FOREVER GREAT FULL. YOU EARNED YOU WINGS AND I KNOW YOU ARE HAPPY AND SMILING DOWN FROM ABOVE. YOU WERE SO BRAVE THRU YOUR BATTLES WITH THE DISEASE AND RARELY COMPLAINED. GOD MADE YOU AS AN ANGEL AND YOU FULFILLED YOUR ANGELIC WORK AND IT WAS TIME TO RETURN TO THE PEACEFUL LIGHT. MY LOVE FOR YOUR WILL BE ETERNAL
