Frieda Rizzo, 78, of Lake in the Hills, died peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2020.
Frieda was born in Germany on October 1, 1941 to parents Georg and Kreszenz (nee Beinkiefer) Rosskopf.
Frieda was so full of love for everyone she met. Her family meant the world to her and she cared for them so deeply. She was incredibly giving and was a caring animal lover. She loved to knit and spend time with her friends and family.
Frieda is survived by her children, Bernadene (Les) Walker, and Daniel (Laurie) Rizzo, her grandchildren, Zack, Natalie, Sammy, Nicholas, Sophia, and Kate, her sister, Betty (Hannes) Barth, and her nephews, Jeffrey and Patrick.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ross Rizzo, her children, Ricky Rizzo, and Raphael Rizzo, her sister Frieda Rosskopf, and her niece Diana.
Cremation will be private at DeFiore Funeral Home.
