Francis “Bud” Gallagher, 85, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
Bud was born on May 28, 1935 in Reading, Pennsylvania to parents Francis and Laura (nee Bell) Gallagher.
Bud was the ultimate family man and nothing brought him more joy than cheering on his grandchildren playing sports. He was humble, kind and easy-going and loved to make people laugh. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a huge fan of the Chicago Bears.
Bud is survived by his wife of nine years Annette (nee LoCascio) Gallagher, his children, Rich (Margie) Gallagher, Mike (Lisa) Gallagher, and Frank (Kelli) Guzzo, and his grandchildren, Caitlin, Meagan, Patrick, Kyle, Sean, Dan, Nico, and Dominic.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Gallagher and his parents.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 2 p.m. to time of prayer service 6 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Interment will be Monday, October 12, 2020 11 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 South Wolf Road, Hillside.
