Obituary

Paul F. Kudlach, 60 of Huntley, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Sherman West Court Nursing Center in Elgin.

He was born January 24, 1952, in Elgin, the son of John J. and Valerie A. (Fridrich) Kudlach. Paul was raised and educated in Huntley, graduating from Huntley High School. In 1974 he graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor Degree in History. He worked as an accountant for many years for PLUS Inc. (Programs for Low Income Urban Services) helping to keep the company viable and focused on its mission. In 1985 he became self-employed in property management, handling the family’s property and business affairs, all while caring for his mother the last fifteen years of her life. Paul was easy going and supportive of his friends and family, and enjoyed the company of his friends and family. He enjoyed his local roots and was proud to watch the Village of Huntley grow and prosper. He liked to work outdoors, loved to read and do research on most anything, was interested in local and national politics, the US economy, markets and investing. He liked to work with computers and electronic gadgets and had even built and programmed his own computers. He enjoyed conversations on many topics and had a very good sense of humor, which he delivered in very articulate ways.

Paul is survived by his brother, John (Val) Kudlach, his nephew, Alex Kudlach all of St. Charles, and his many friends and many relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private memorial gathering will be held from 12:00 noon until the 2:00 p.m. memorial service on Saturday January 19th all at DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Huntley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Research organization of your choice.
