Gary George Woytko, 66, of Huntley, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.
Gary was born on August 1, 1954, in Chicago to parents George and Lillian (nee Paljug) Woytko. On June 12, 1982 he married Vicki LeBlanc and they spent many happy years together. They loved to travel the country on roadtrips with their motorcycles, and more recently Gary became involved with the Slingshot Roadsters. He was a bold and vibrant man who didn’t hold anything back. His family meant the world to him, and he loved to cook for them. He was known for his amazing gumbo, but was willing to try any recipe that came his way. He loved to relax and watch classic movies. Gary will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Vicki Woytko, his children, Jessica Woytko, and David Woytko, his brother, Greg (Diana) Woytko, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 7, 2020, from 1 p.m. to time of memorial service 3 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.

My deepest condolences to your family. Jessica, keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Vicki, Jessica and David, you are all in our thoughts every day. Gary was a such a nice guy, and we loved talking with him and seeing him enjoy cooking BBQ out back, which always smelled so delicious! Our thoughts are also with your sweet greyhound Lois, as she adjusts to this change. It was easy to see how Gary loved and cared deeply for his family. He will definitely be missed by many.
Very sorry for your loss. I worked with Gary for 23 years and appreciated all of his insight and experience.
