Our deepest condolences to the Walters Family. Carlyle ( Carl ) was a wonderful individual next door neighbor of mine, on Lakeside in Palatine. He was so generous in all kinds of ways, We will miss him, and my Children will miss him, he was a Santa for them, and when he spoke to them as Donald Dock, they loved it, and he was as a 2nd Grandpa for them, always found little time for them. "My Friend you were called away, and you have gone with lord to stay, but - as you there, and find spare time come and see me, and tell me how is on the other side". Our thoughts go out to his Family, and my Friend You filled us with wonderful memories. May Your Soul rest in peace. God Bless+++

My condolences to the Walters family. I was so lucky to have met Carl while living in Chicago. His big heart, quick wit and kind manner reminded me of family and made me feel like I was home. I shared a European vacation with Carl and Joanne several years ago and learned a life lesson that I still carry with me... no matter our age, always be open to new love, be willing to try new things, and find joy & wonder exploring the world we live in. Heaven no doubt has a new angel.
