More than an uncle, this man was a guide in a very dark time of my life. Wise, honest, and a much bigger heart than he ever let on, Uncle John was quietly larger than life.

He was so warm and so kind. He always made me feel not just welcomed but enthusiastic to have me in his home, eating his food, laughing with his family. He is a man I truly admire. He will be missed as long as any who has met him lives and beyond.
I always admired Uncle John. Always kind and funny. My deepest sympathies as this is a tremendous loss.

All of us loved him and he was a great guy to love. I have a lot of good memories, but the best was his and Tom's trip to Pebble Beach and he got a Tshirt to remind him of it. Enough said. Love to all of you.
