Orvil “K” Neal, 86, of Gilberts, died January 5, 2021
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from Noon until 3pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. “K” was born May 11, 1934 the son of Thomas Jessie and Fannie Neal. On May 28, 1966 he married Linda Bodel. He and Linda enjoyed going to casinos as well as stopping for ice cream. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He enjoyed watching sports, especially all of the Chicago teams and his Kentucky Wildcats. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Kelley (Sue Kren) Neal and Kasandra (Robert) Funk and by his grandchildren, Kenneth and Kristopher. He is also survived by his brothers, Thomas, Larry (Sharon) and Carlos and by many nieces and nephews.
Orvil was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda and by his brothers, Roy Lee, Harlan “Red”, Herman, Allen “Bob” and sister, Dorthey Jewell Koranda.

I am deeply saddened by Orvil’s passing.
My heart sank when I first heard the news from my mom and still so saddened. Please know how much I've been keeping you all in my thoughts this week. Sending virtual hugs along with wishes for comfort & peace during such a difficult time. I smile as I think about him being reunited with your mom. Love to you all!
