Paul George Dentler, 78, of Huntley, formerly of Norridge, died on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
Paul was born in Chicago on November 20, 1942 to parents George and Dorothy (nee Jensen) Dentler. On September 20, 1969 he married Carol Kulikowski and together they raised two children. Paul was an avid fisherman and would spend time fishing wherever there was water. He was dedicated to his family and could be found supporting his grandchildren at all their sporting events. He was always laughing and was rarely found without a smile on his face. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Carol Dentler, his children, David Dentler, and Debbie (Christopher) Daly, and his two grandchildren, Seamus and Samantha.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, followed by a 1:30 p.m. mass at St. Mary Catholic Church 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.

He was so kind and welcoming when I first met him. It was like I had always known him, but I am sure that is what everyone would say because that was the kind of guy he was.
