JoAnn, I just opened FaceBook and saw this shockingly sad news of your husband’s passing. I can’t know if he was ill beforehand but that matters not. Your best friend, your loving partner who was by your side for most of your life .....no one can take his place. There are no words, just the prayers and thoughts of a distant friend. He was an awesome cousin! I have many fond memories of him from my younger years in Chicagoland, and many good memories beyond that.

He was Marcin’s cousin from Poland! We are so greatfull we have had Opportunity in 2015 to meet him in Ostrow and Odolanow in Poland! JoAnn, Al and I were so sorry, and shocked to hear of Florian’s passing. He was a great guy and I am sure you and family will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family.
I only had the privilege of knowing Florian for less than a year. However during that time I was able to play many softball games with him as well as playing golf several times. I often saw Florian and JoAnn walking on the path and each time it occurred, a smile always came to my face. I am glad to have known Flory and wish it could have been for many years to come. My heart goes out to JoAnn and the rest of his family and friends.
