Our sympathies to the Barsanti family. We only knew Norm for 15 years, but during that time he became a great friend. One of the "College of Knowledge" charter members, Norm was always willing to arrange a poker game at Louie's garage usually at a moments notice. He will be missed by many of us.

Our condolences to Norm’s family Marianne and I knew Norm and Viv since high school. We had so many good times together, family vacations and living next store to one another for over 20 years In the last few months I was able to take him to a number of doctors appointments All he would talk about is his love for Viv and how hard she worked to take care of him. He also would tell me how much he loved his children and grandchildren and how proud he was for each and everyone of them He told me he didn’t pray and ask God for much. However each time we were together he told me he prayed not to be a burden to Viv and the kids. He prayed God would take him quickly and peacefully My good friend your prayers were answered so now Rest In Peace

My most sincere and deepest sympathy to Viv and all of the Barsanti children and families. Norm and Viv were a huge support for me during some challenging times and I will always be grateful for them. The time I spent with the family will be cherished forever and the memories I have will remain forever in my heart. No words can replace the sadness you are all feeling but the legacy Norm left will be carried on through you all. I read this just yesterday and it is so true: "When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind." Truer words were never spoken. Sending you peace, love, and all the virtual hugs you can feel. Rest in Paradise, Norm. You will be missed.

Norm was a contagious man. I fell in love with his humor, his laugh and life stories. We made his homemade favorite cracker spread together and he taught me well on the certain way he made it. We named it “NormGualade”.

“What a difference a man can make “ Norm was my Dad’s best friend. He married Viv and had 4 beautiful daughters and devoted son. Norm loved his family. I was fortunate to live one house away from Norm and Viv and what a childhood I experienced. I was over almost everyday and although Norm had a large family he always made me feel welcome. He would make his famous banana daiquiris and playing Elvis Presley albums blasting in the house. I had such wonderful memories that I will cherish forever! My husband loved Norm too! Everyone does who meets him. We are so sorry For your loss. Please know your in our thoughts and prayers. Sheri Nardulli
