Laura T. Bakrins, 51, of Huntley, died peacefully, March 4, 2021.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 12-2pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL. Her funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to her family.
Laura was born August 23, 1969 in Berwyn, Illinois the daughter of Daniel and Marcy Dooley. On July 31, 2000 she married Perry Bakrins. She has worked for Jewel for over 35 years. Laura was hard working, loyal and kind. She lived her life for her family. Her children were the light of her life and she took great joy in being a Mom. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Perry, her children, Victoria, Shane and Chase, by her parents, Dan and Marcy Dooley, her sisters, Dena (Todd) Stukenberg, and Janet (Andy) Weldon and by her nieces and nephews, Troy, Reagan, Sara and Sydney. Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents.

My deepest condolences to Laura's family. She was a neighbor for several years. She was always so nice and had a lovely personality. I know what a hard worker she was and a loving Mom to her children. My heart goes out to them, so sad losing their Mother. Gone at such a young age, May she rest in peace.
I’m so sorry to hear of Laura’s passing. I worked with her at the Jewel in West Dundee. She always talked about her family and you could just feel the love she had for them. She will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with them at this most difficult time.

I am very sorry to hear that Laura passed away . I was so surprised to hear about it, I worked with her at the West Dundee Jewel she was such a wonderful person always joking around and happy. She loved her family very much and we would share stories about our families I will miss her. My prayers are with her family during this time.
