Dorothy J. Guarine, 75, of Huntley, formerly of Streamwood, died peacefully April 8, 2021 at her home.
Dorothy was born June 11, 1945 the daughter of Henry and Edith Zierden. She worked as a buyer and later as a real estate agent for Caldwell Banker. She was a born caretaker, not only caring for her family but caring for her mother, her step father and aunt. Dorothy always put others before herself. She was a great cook, and enjoyed the Blackhawks, traveling to Disney and Elton John. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Dorothy will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Tom) Becker, Tracy (Dean) Szczepanski, her grandchildren, Timmy and Christine. She is also survived by her step father, Robert Gordon and Aunt Betty Winkleman.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother, Edith and her brother, Bobby.
