Anne M. Jelinek, 86 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away on Thursday evening, October 6, 2011, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Anne was born June 17, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Anton and Clara (Bertram) Zindrick.? She was raised in Chicago and on December 10, 1943 married her childhood sweetheart, Charles Jelinek.? The couple made their home in Carpentersville and she worked as a machine operator for ITW in Elgin for over 30 years.? In 2003 the couple moved to Huntley.? Anne was a devoted mother and spent a great deal of her time in the kitchen cooking and baking.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of Huntley, her daughters, Linda (David) Goss of Crystal Lake, Susan (Andy) Pasilis of Orting, Washington, her sons, John (Elizabeth) Jelinek of Belvidere & Bruce (Celeste) Jelinek of Rockford, her grandchildren, James, William, Dustin, Sara, Amy, Emily, Jennifer, John, Amanda & Carrie, her great-grandchildren,? Loren, J.T., Charlie, Dakota, Kaden, Allison, Riley, Griffin, Nolan, Grayson & Evelyn, her sister, Ruth Williams of Berwyn, Illinois.
A private family memorial is scheduled for a later date.
