Vickie taught across the hall from me at Leggee Elementary for ten years. I will always remember laughing with her, sharing ideas, and how much she truly cared for her students. She was such a sweet, kind person. Rest In Peace, Vickie. You are missed.
Vickie was a quiet person with one of the kindest souls that I became privileged to know. Her smile was contagious. Her love for teaching was to be admired. May she continue to teach Science with all of the angels above. Rest in peace, Vickie.
The world has lost a beautiful soul. Vickie was always so kind and caring. I enjoyed our talks over the copy machine in the teacher's lounge. Rest in peace, Vickie.
Vickie was one of my oldest, dearest and cherished friends. I enjoyed sharing retirement with her. The many dinners, movies and conversations we shared. Her study of and the many questions she had regarding A Course in Miracles. Her love of nature and animals. She was a beautiful soul and far to gentle for this world. So proud to call you my friend. Now you finally know what's on the other side and I can hear you smiling. I will miss you.
Vickie- you will be missed by all of your fellow GC friends. Rest in Peace, Kathy
I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Vickie when she started teaching in Huntley. Her warmth, kindness and love of teaching touched everyone around her. May you rest In Peace, Vickie. You will be missed.
Vickie is my sister. I thank God that He put us together on this earth. We learned a lot from one another I believe. We had a lot of trials and tribulations in life but that brought us closer together. She worried and cared for me because I was her "baby sister" even though I am only a few years younger than her. I will miss her laughter and her beautiful smile. Her face would light up when she laughed. She loved nature and every living creature living in it. That's what made her special. Our family is so touched by the condolences. She made an impact on so many lives.

Victoria - my Queen! Thanx for being with me the last 39 years! We had a lotta fun, didn’t we? - dancing at the Wild Hare club ! Boating on all the rivers and lakes ! Then the biggest adventure of all: our old house in the country and all the cats and dogs we rescued and saved ! You were my best friend EVER !!! Luv ya, “Top Cat”..... Andre.
Vickie, my dear friend, how I will miss those deep conversations we had about our current lives and what is beyond. I hope you know how many, many people loved your warmth and kindness to all creatures. We all loved you so much and hope you always remember that. We certainly will miss our time with you. The world was a better place while you were with us.

I will always remember how kind and gentle Vickie was and how much I enjoyed working with. She will be greatly missed.
I was a student of Victoria Bien at St Monicas School in Chicago, il. In 1973. She was of course a wonderful teacher. I always felt encouraged to do my very best. The last time I saw Miss Bien was outside of a music club called Park West in the North side of Chicago. She was just as sweet and kind as I remembered her in Grammer school. I.have thought of her many times over the years, always with a smile. God Bless you and until we meet a gain, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
